Several clubs in Scotland are said to be after former Livingston star Ciaron Brown, with Celtic named as one potential destination (TeamTalk).

The versatile defender – who can play left-centre-back or wing-back – was recalled from a third Livingston loan spell in January by Cardiff City. Now the likes of Celtic and ‘a host of’ clubs’ north of the border are said to be interested in bringing him to Scotland for a fourth time.

Brown has made 30 appearances this term, 18 for Livingston and 12 for Cardiff City. He scored his first Livi goal prior to his return to Cardiff City, ironically against Celtic in a January draw with the Parkhead club.

David Martindale’s side finished the Scottish Premiership season for 2020/21 season in sixth place after a 0-0 draw with St Johnstone on Saturday. They also reached the League Cup final, which they lost to St Johnstone in February.
