One of Aberdeen’s biggest signings this summer was the deal which brought Derby’s Craig Bryson to Pittodrie.
However, due to injury, he has not been able to make that much of an impact for the Dons. However, he is now injury free, and is hoping that will kickstart his season.
“Hopefully on Saturday I can get my first 90 minutes” Bryson said, as reported by the Press and Journal, ahead of Aberdeen’s match against St Johnstone.

“Get my season started”
“I tried to push it a wee bit in a bid to be ready for one of the European games and I suffered a wee setback. But I seem to be over that now so hopefully I can really push on and get my season started this weekend.”

It would be a real bonus for Aberdeen if Bryson can stay fit for a run of games. He could be an excellent player for the Dons if he can feature most weeks.
Could have performed better in Europe with player

Perhaps if the player had been available, the Dons could have lasted in Europe a while longer than they did. Still, it is about the here and now, and Derek McInnes will be delighted to have Bryson ready to go.
Both he and the player will be hoping that Bryson manages to complete 90 minutes against St Johnstone. From then on, he can as he says, get his season started. That would be great news for Aberdeen.
