Craig Bryson has signed a deal with St Johnstone, joining Callum Davidson’s men until the end of the season.
The Derby County hero is heading to McDiarmid Park off the back of a tough year with Aberdeen. Seen as an experienced head to replace former captain Graeme Shinnie after his move to Derby, it simply didn’t work out that way.
A combination of injuries and lack of games restricted Bryson to just 14 Reds appearances. The club agreed to terminate his contract and allow Bryson to find a new team.
That outfit is St Johnstone as he looks to get going in the SPFL again. Bryson made his name at Kilmarnock, making over 100 appearances for Killie before a move to Derby County in 2011.
He would go on to have an eight-year association with the Rams, making 276 appearances with the Championship side. Bryson also had a brief spell at Cardiff City on loan between August 2017 and January 2018.

He’ll now hope for some success in St Johnstone blue.
