Hearts boss Craig Levein has mad an interesting observation about the club’s attacker Harry Cochrane. Levein feels it will take years for the player to play to the very best of his abilities.
This isn’t meant as a criticism of the player from Levein though. He feels it will take time for him to develop, as he is still so young.
“Harry has had such a stop-start season. I think he’s had five injuries” Levein said, as reported by the Edinburgh Evening News.

“Going to take a bit of time”
“Harry has a very light frame, so he is going to take a bit of time. It might not be until he’s 22 or 23 that he’s actually strong enough to do everything he wants to do.”

Cochrane made his debut for Hearts as a 16-year-old, and played a memorable role in Hearts’ famous 4-0 win over Celtic in 2017.
Had to deal with injuries

However, the player has had to deal with plenty of injuries since then. This season he has made only seven appearances for the Tynecastle side.
However, judging by Levein’s comments he has not lost faith in the player. Indeed, he seems to have almost expected it to happen.
As long as Cochrane doesn’t get too down-hearted by his injury issues, he can go on to have a long and successful career at Tynecastle.
Levein certainly thinks the player can do well.
