Crystal Palace and Dundee United have reportedly agreed on a deal to take Scott Banks to Selhurst Park (Daily Record).
The midfielder was thought of as a Tangerine star of the future. After failing to agree terms on a new deal though, United have had to face the reality of losing the teenager.

His next club is set to be Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace and he’ll reportedly go in a big deal.
Banks earns United six figures with Crystal Palace switch
United could have netted £200k in compensation from Banks as his contract reaches its conclusion. What they will earn though is much more than that, as the deal factors in a fee and add-ons.
Palace tried to sign Banks in the summer as did Premier League rivals Southampton. Both attempts failed but now the Eagles look set to land the Tangerine starlet.

He will head to London next week to complete a medical and finalise his move to the Premier League.
During his time at Tannadice, Banks has made four senior appearances.
