According to a report, Crystal Palace are still hot on the heels of Dundee United prospect Scott Banks (the Sun).
A report during the summer (Evening Telegraph) claimed that the Tangerines had rejected a six figure offer from the Eagles for the Tayside prospect.

The most recent report claims that Banks, who won’t put pen to paper on a new Tannadice deal, will become a January target for Roy Hodgson’s side.
Reported Crystal Palace target Banks has dropped out of the United squad
Palace are hoping that they can land the youngster for their squad. Banks hasn’t actually played much football since the summer of speculation though.
His last game was on the opening day of the season and the 18-year-old hasn’t even been selected for a squad since September.

With something seemingly afoot with Banks and United, the Selhurst Park side may see this as a prime opportunity to swoop for the promising midfielder.
Banks himself may be desperate for a change if he continues to sit out in the United wilderness, as he’s dropped out of the recent Scotland youth sides as a result.
Crystal Palace are seemingly chasing up Banks eagerly and it won’t be a major surprise if they materialise their interest in January.
