Aidan McAdams has joined Greenock Morton from Rangers whilst Wallace Duffy also joins on a season-long loan from St Johnstone.
McAdams was a highly-thought of goalkeeper at Rangers. With several talented keepers like Robbie McCrorie in the youth system though plus Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin at senior level, McAdams couldn’t find a spot at Rangers.
He now joins Morton after his Rangers exit, heading to Cappielow in search of regular games. Duffy meanwhile joins from the Perthshire Saints, also looking for vital matches that will aid his development at McDiarmid Park.
David Hopkin’s side are gearing themselves up for the new season, taking to League Cup group stage competition first before a return to Championship action on October 17 against Alloa.
The Ton boss says he is pleased with the two signings: “We’ve been having a close look at Aidan over the past couple of weeks during our sessions at Parklea and believe he can add value to the squad.

“Wallace is a player we’ve had an eye on for a while. Both boys come straight into contention for First-Team places as we look ahead to the coming season.”
