St Johnstone midfielder Craig Bryson has been hailed by Derby County and their fans, 10 years on from signing for the Pride Park side.

Bryson joined the club a decade ago this week from Kilmarnock, going on to make 278 appearances with 42 goals and 39 assists. He left in 2019 for Aberdeen and featured for St Johnstone in the 2020/21 Scottish Premiership term, the McDiarmid Park club winning an unprecedented League and Scottish Cup double.

But there is still plenty of love for Bryson south of the border, Derby County labelling the midfielder as a ‘legend’ for his contributions at the English Championship club. Bryson is now part of a legendary St Johnstone team too and will continue to ply his trade in Perth next term after signing a contract extension.

In the meantime before the new 21/22 season – where Bryson will feature for Saints in the Europa League – Derby County and their fans have paid tribute to St Johnstone’s experienced midfielder.
