Aberdeen haven’t had the best of starts to the season. The Dons are currently in fifth place in the league table. They are already five points behind the early pacesetters, Celtic and Rangers.
The recent 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock was a poor match with few chances created by either side. However, if any Aberdeen fans thought that they could make any more signings before the end of the transfer window, it looks like that won’t be the case.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has revealed that the Dons won’t be making any more signings.
“The numbers are good”
“There will not be any in as the numbers are good when we have a fully fit squad” McInnes said, as reported by the Press and Journal.
“I have good options in all areas of the pitch.”

Team may improve once injured players return
McInnes’ comments will be frustrating to the Aberdeen support. The Dons do look lacking in quality in recent weeks. However, perhaps when the injuries clear up, the performances will improve.
Perhaps the signing situation will change after Aberdeen’s next match. The Dons take on Ross County at Pittodrie, in a game they will be expected to win.

Anything other than three points would only add to what has been a middling start to the season. However, perhaps the Dons will be forced into the transfer market, should they fail to defeat Ross County.
For the moment though, it looks as it Aberdeen’s signings for the summer are done.
