Hibs and Rangers swapped players last night as Greg Docherty headed to Hibs and Florian Kamberi left Leith for Ibrox.

Docherty has found himself out in the Ibrox cold this term. He’s been unable to break into Steven Gerrard’s plans and now moves to Easter Road in order to earn game time.

He was at Hamilton prior to his Ibrox move. Docherty moved on loan to Shrewsbury Town last year before returning to Govan this term. Hibs have lost a striker though to Rangers.

After eight goals in 27 games this term, Kamberi has joined Rangers on loan until the end of the season. The striker first joined Hibs on loan from Grasshopper in 2018 before signing a three-year deal that summer.

Marc McNulty has been brought back to Easter Road to help cover the forward’s loss. McNulty had been on loan at Sunderland from Reading this season, but the Royals have opted to send him back to Leith.

Hibs return to action this afternoon when they take on St Mirren, before a game against Rangers at Ibrox awaits on Wednesday night.
