Dundee United fans were excited by what Manchester United loanee Dylan Levitt produced during his Scottish Premiership debut.

The 20-year-old midfielder was pitched in from the start against St Johnstone as Thomas Courts’ side secured an impressive 1-0 victory over St Johnstone. Peter Pawlett scored before getting sent off but the Tannadice side held on for a second win of the season. Levitt joined on a season-long loan from Manchester United 48 hours prior to kick-off.

His calmness and passing range stood out to fans as Levitt grew into proceedings against the League Cup and Scottish Cup holders. Levitt is highly-rated by Manchester United and was with Wales during their Euro 2020 campaign. He has nine international caps.

Another debutant who impressed was Trevor Carson. The goalkeeper was making his debut in place of injured number one Benjamin Siegrist and the Northern Ireland international made a couple of big saves to help secure three Dundee United points.

Fans have sent their messages following the victory.
