The end of the transfer window saw Rangers sign Dundee’s Glen Kamara.
The completed deal means that Kamara joins Rangers now, rather than next season on a pre-contract agreement.
Kamara had originally agreed to join the Gers at the end of the season.

Some Dundee supporters might be wondering why they let such an important player go in the middle of a relegation battle.
But Dundee boss Jim McIntyre stated to BBC Sport that he was in favour of the player moving on in January, and you can see his point.

There is no way Kamara would have been as committed to Dundee as he was before signing the deal at Ibrox.
He wouldn’t necessarily start playing poorly, it would just always be at the back of his mind.
Therefore, it was the right decision to move the player on.

Dundee not only get to move on a player who was going to leave, but they don’t lose him for free either.
Only time will tell if the departure of Kamara will make a difference between Dundee staying up and being relegated.
If the Dens Park side do get relegated though, fans should not blame it on the decision to sell Kamara.
It was the right thing to do and Jim McIntyre should be applauded for having the courage to make the decision.
