Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet has spoken out in wake of reported interest from Rangers.
A recent report claimed that the Ibrox side are ‘keeping tabs’ on the Pars’ star striker (Evening Times). He only recently joined the East End Park club from Raith Rovers in the summer.

Nisbet admits he is flattered by the interest but insists that it is merely speculation for now, although he’ll have to wait and ‘see what happens.’
He told the Evening Times: “I’m really flattered that there is interest there, but you’ve got to remember that it’s nothing more or less than just that,” Nisbet told Herald and Times Sport.
“There’s still a long way to go for me as a player and it’s important to put that to the side and concentrate on Dunfermline.

“Rangers is a massive club so I want to keep doing what I’m doing. From there we’ll see what happens, really.”
Rangers-linked Nisbet is performing well at Dunfermline
Nisbet caught the attention of Dunfermline last season with 34 goals at Raith Rovers. That earned him a move to East End Park, where he has continued to fire regularly.
So far this term, he has 11 goals in 19 games. It’s been a strong start to life at the Pars and interest was always going to crop up eventually.

A move to Rangers would be a huge step for the striker, but given that he only signed a deal with Dunfermline during the summer, his current club will likely be unwilling to sell.
It’s a feather in Nisbet’s cap though that such teams are interested in him after a solid run of goals.
