Hibs drew 2-2 with Celtic at Easter Road on Saturday in a game of mixed emotions for home supporters.
The home team had taken a two-goal advantage through Jamie Murphy and Kevin Nisbet, looking likely to achieve a brilliant win over Celtic. But late heartbreak was to come.
Odsonne Edouard got Celtic back into things with a goal from the spot before a cruel blow came Hibs’ way in stoppage time. Diego Laxalt scored in the final minute to ensure a point for former Easter Road gaffer Neil Lennon.
A point at home to either of Glasgow’s big two isn’t to be sniffed at. But given how close Hibs had come to snatching victory in this one, which would have been deserved, they may feel disappointed with a point.
But as a whole, to take a point from a match with the champions is not to be sniffed at.
Fans have been giving their takes on how things panned out at Easter Road.
Frustrating it’s a robbery

2 points against the 2 best teams in the country at home is a good return. Just need to be consistent against the rest.

Hibs again highlighting how frail this Celtic team can be and they will be disappointed at throwing away a two goal lead.
The defending champions have shipped 8 goals in their last 4 league outings and an eye watering 17 goals in their last 8 games in all competitions.

Full Time| Hibs 2-2 Celtic
Can’t help but feel disappointed. Celtic weren’t creating any worrying chances. 2 poor clearances from both CBS lead to their goals & 2 goal lead being lost.
Positives there though, attitude from start of 2nd half & Murphy deserving of MOTM! pic.twitter.com/mpe64h0Y0z

I will take that but frustrating that Hibs gave up a two goal lead and lost the second in the 91st minute! https://t.co/pVpDcIXy9l

Frustrating. Some performance which merited 3 points. Bobby Madden has had a mare though. https://t.co/v8gNHaGxVR
