Former Hibs and Rangers striker Florian Kamberi has tested positive for Covid-19.
The striker is a familiar face to SPFL fans, spending time at Hibs before a controversial loan move to Rangers earlier in the year.

After a permanent move to Rangers failed to come to fruition for the Swiss striker, Hibs moved quick to find him another home after aggravating the Easter Road faithful further with comments whilst at Rangers.
He completed a switch to St Gallen in his native Switzerland. Kamberi has featured five times since moving to the Swiss Super League side in the summer but has yet to find the net and that wait will continue.
St Gallen have confirmed that the former Hibs and Rangers man has tested positive for Covid-19. A statement says that after showing some signs of the virus, he has now confirmed as having tested positive.

“Florian Kamberi tested positive for the corona virus yesterday, Monday,” the statement reads. “The player showed slight symptoms of illness on Monday morning, whereupon FC St.Gallen 1879 immediately initiated a test.
“This was positive. Florian Kamberi is in isolation and has not had any contact with the team since Sunday evening. He feels well.
“As a safety measure, the training on Monday morning was cancelled as a precaution and the entire first team including staff was also tested. All tests were negative.

“In consultation with the St. Gallen Cantonal Medical Office, the team will resume training tomorrow – as before, strictly adhering to the protection concept of the Swiss Football League.”
