Hamilton star Alex Gogic has insisted it’s impotant for everyone at the club to appreciate everything more once the Covid-19 pandemic comes to an end.

The Cypriot has taken stock of an unprecedented situation that has seen the world change dramatically over the past few weeks.

Football is just one of many things currently suspended far and wide as a result of the ongoing heath crisis, and it would seem it won’t be back for a while.

Many people are having to get used to a new way of living, but a strong collective effort will hopefully mean the end of this situation sooner rather than later.

Accies ace Gogic believes Covid-19 is going to result in a new outlook on life for everyone at New Douglas Park.

He said (official website): “It’s very difficult for everyone in all walks of life at the moment. For me it’s strange not waking up and going to training, but I’ve now replaced that with a run in the morning.

“When I was out for a long period of time with my cruciate, that was really hard for me, however, I was still at training and got to see the lads everyday and socialise with them to feel somewhat still involved, whereas that’s not possible at the moment and we’ve all got to accept that.

“It’s a difficult period we’re currently living in and the important thing is we come out of it stronger and appreciate everything more after this.”

Gogic’s thoughts are likely to be shared by many people once the situation with Covid-19 eventually subsides.

At the moment restrictions are necessary, and they are enabling lots of people to see the value in the things they take for granted every day.
