Hearts academy product Greig Allen has completed a move to fellow cinch Premiership club Rangers.

The youngster swaps Tynecastle for Ibrox as Rangers pay Hearts an undisclosed compensation fee for his services.  Allan has been monitored by the Premiership champions for a long period of time and now makes the move to Govan official.

Rangers’ Head of Academy, Craig Mulholland said of Allen’s move from Tynecastle to Ibrox“This is an exciting time of year for our new recruits who are starting out for the first time as professional footballers. Greig joins our professional ranks from Hearts and he is a young player our recruitment team have tracked for some time.”

Hearts add in a statement: “Greig Allen has left Hearts’ youth academy to join Rangers. The youngster makes the move with Rangers paying an undisclosed amount for training compensation.”
