Hearts legend John Robertson has piled praise on Jambos talent Aaron Hickey following his impressive start to the season.
The 17-year-old has been linked with a whole host of teams north and south of the border as he continues to impress across the Gorgie backline.

Robertson believes the versatile full-back has a ‘massive’ future ahead of him.
He told BT Sport 1(12:07, 20/10/19): “He’s still a young lad and we shouldn’t get too excited, but he’s a real talent.
“He’s two footed and can play quite comfortably at right-back.. He’s a humble and hard working lad with a massive, massive future.”
Hickey was faced with steep Hearts learning curve at the weekend
Robertson is well aware of Hickey and the potential the natural left-back has. Having watched his performance against Rangers though, he’ll know Hickey will have learned a lot from the clash.

Craig Levein deployed him at right-back and the teenager struggle to get to grips with the game early on. He conceded a corner before losing Alfredo Morelos in the box, resulting in a Gers goal.
It is wrong to criticise him heavily as he is only young, but this will have been a tough afternoon for Hickey. It’s the first time in his professional career where he personally has had a challenging game.
Take nothing away from his potential though, the sky is very much the limit for the Hearts youngster. Robertson seems to be aware of that too.
