Hearts must do everything to keep Steven Naismith and Arnaud Djoum after they were linked with a move to Birmingham City according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
The Blues have been keeping tabs on the duo, and were reportedly watched during Hearts’ 2-1 win against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Both players are out of contract at the end of the season and can move on for free.
Hearts boss Craig Levein has confirmed that the Jambos have offered deals to both players to remain at Tynecastle.
Naismith is currently the top goalscorer at Tynecastle with 13 goals to his name so far this season – while Djoum has been one of the Jambos’ best players recently.

Losing two senior players would be bad enough for Levein’s side but losing two who are so vital to his squad would be a massive blow.
After starting the season so well, Hearts’ form dropped off before picking up again once Naismith returned from injury.
With only three points separating the Gorgie side from third in the leaugue, European football next season looks a real possibility.

That could well be something that helps sway both players into committing their futures to Hearts.
Neither player is likely to make a decision any time soon but Levein must do all he can to convince them to stay in Edinburgh beyond May.
