Hearts winger Jamie Walker has suffered another injury setback that will keep him out of action until December.
He was substituted after 38 minutes during the Jambos’ 2-1 victory over Motherwell. The 26-year-old is aiming to return before the year is finished.

Speaking to Hearts’ website, Craig Levein expressed his disappointment over Walker’s injury.
The Jambos boss said: “I’m obviously very disappointed for Jamie, especially when it looked like he was beginning to hit the form that we know he’s capable of.
“We have a very good medical team here at the club and I’m sure they and Jamie will work hard to get him back and in peak condition in three months time.”
Fresh Walker injury is a big blow for Hearts
Walker just isn’t getting much luck in the way of injuries right now. He had only just made his return from an injury that ruled him out for a large part of last season.

His finish at Pittodrie against Aberdeen a few weeks showed that Walker looked fit and ready to go with Hearts this term. Now that progress has been put on hold.
According to Transfermarkt the 26-year-old missed 24 games last term with a knee injury. He’ll have hoped to have put his injury woes to one side.
Now he has a brand new injury to deal with. His loss is a big blow to Hearts, as the winger offers great pace and technical class to their right flank. Levein needs to figure out how to replace that now.

It’s unfortunate for Walker but hopefully he’ll be back firing soon.
