Hibernian midfielder Innes Murray has disclosed that he is currently enjoying his loan spell at Championship side Alloa.
The reason the 23-year-old is pleased is that he has been able to play regular football for Alloa, and unlike some of his Hibernian teammates who are at clubs in League One and League Two on loan he is able to play football as those divisions are currently suspended.
“Going well”
“Things are going well. The last few weeks have been a bit tricky. We’ve had a couple of defeats” he said.

“But we just need to get back to doing what we were doing at the start of the season, and hopefully we can go on a wee run again.
“I’m also just glad to still be playing; there are five or six other boys at Hibs who are out on loan and aren’t playing at the moment because the lower leagues have been suspended, so we’re lucky to still be playing in the Championship.”
Contract expires at end of the season
Murray also addressed his future at Easter Road, which is up in the air as his contract expires at the end of the season. He hopes he can stay in full-time football even if he doesn’t make the breakthrough with Hibernian. Murray’s priority though is to make it at Hibernian.

“I think my contract’s up in the summer, but there’s an option to extend, so I’m not too sure what’s happening just yet.
“If there was a chance to progress at Hibs then that would be ideal for me but if not, hopefully I can stay full-time as long as possible and make a living playing football” he concluded.
