Hibs fans are in for something a little bit different when they arrive at Easter Road this afternoon for the Cabbage’s Premiership clash with St. Mirren after the Hibees finished installing four LED screens in the East Stand.

The screens, which Hibs say will make them a ‘leader in Scottish football, will show pre-match content as well as the match itself, with the Easter Road side looking to continually enhance their offering.

Chairman Ron Gordon was delighted to have had the screens installed ahead of today’s clash with the Buddies as he lauded the changes at Easter Road with the club trying to improve the overall supporter experience on matchday.

“We’re delighted to have fulfilled an early promise and ambition of ours by installing four top-of-the-range screens at Easter Road,” he said.

“We’re really passionate about increasing supporter engagement and making sure that supporters have the best possible experience when they visit us on a matchday; these screens will certainly be a major part of that.

“The installation of the screens shows that we continue to move forward as a football club, and we are always looking to innovate.

“We’d also like to thank ADI for their work with us. Over the last 18 months we’ve worked incredibly close together to make sure the screens worked at Easter Road from a technological and structural point of view.

“I’m excited to see them in action on Saturday against St Mirren and I hope you enjoy our pre-match show!”
