Hibs fans have wished Ofir Marciano all the best for the future after his final Scottish Premiership appearance for the Easter Road club against Celtic.

The Israeli goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in his final league game during the 0-0 draw on Saturday. He has been linked with a move to Celtic and Hapoel Be’er Sheva but the goalkeeper will take time to make his big decision on where he plays his football next.

Marciano has been with Hibs since 2016 and Celtic and Hapoel Be'er Sheva have been touted as potential destinations.

He could become a Scottish Cup winner with the club next weekend as Hibs face St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup final. The match with Celtic may have been Marciano’s last game though as Matt Macey has been the cup goalkeeper since his arrival in January.

The game brought an end to a successful Premiership season for Hibs that has had them finish third in the league for the first time since 2004/05. Whether it’s Celtic or a return to Israel, Marciano will take the thanks of the Hibs support with him.
