Josh Doig is taking interest from the likes of Leeds United in his stride as his breakthrough season at Hibs goes from strength to strength.
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is interested and Hibs chairman Ron Gordon has been ‘excited’ by the news while Leeds United are also keen. But for the player himself, who has recently signed a new Easter Road deal until 2025, it’s water off a duck’s back.
Doig said: “It is obviously exciting. The first I seen of it was when my dad showed me on Twitter. I can’t focus on that too much, we need to focus on the game on Sunday. But it is exciting and it is a confidence boost for myself when big clubs like that seem to be interested.
“What’s for me won’t go by me, I have always said that. I am not looking ahead to the summer, I have been just focusing on the games.”
