Hibs legends Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson were both allowed to leave the club in the summer. Both ended up at Raith Rovers.
The Easter Road club have been accused of letting the experienced pair go too early when they still had lots to give and also not replacing them with better as they flounder in the lower reaches of the Premiership.
Michael Stewart even claimed the club had disrespected their families by asking them to pay for hospitality tables at their last ever game after years of services, accusing the Hibees board of having no class.
Regardless, the duo have moved on and are now plying their trade for a Championship club with ambitions of moving up to the top flight.
Hanlon could actually have been there already but turned down offers from Premiership clubs to take the step down.

Hanlon reveals why he turned down Premiership moves
The centre-back has now opened up on his reasons for knocking back those clubs that were in for him
There was the security of a three-year deal on offer as he approached his mid-30s but it wasn’t just that.
Hanlon identified Raith as an exciting club to be at and also one that plays good football and with ambition.
The 34-year-old told Fife Today: “The three-year deal offered by Raith was obviously one part of me signing. But obviously looking from the outside I could see that Raith had a great season, it looked an exciting place to be.
“I looked at the squad, it was obviously full of talent and it looked like a good bunch of boys as well.
“You want to come into a good changing room and work with good people every day. That’s proved to be the case. I just thought it was an exciting project to try and be successful at this latter stage of my career.”
Should Paul Hanlon still be at Hibs?
John McGinn recently took aim at Hibs over their recruitment after people like Hanlon, Stevenson and his brother Paul were ‘hounded at’.
He claims they haven’t upgraded on those players since letting them go.
So, should Hanlon still be at Hibs?
Manager David Gray targeted the centre half position in the summer by signing Warren O’Hora and Marvin Ekpiteta and while both have shown attributes they have also struggled at times.
Rocky Bushitri has come into the team in recent games and played well.
But it would be hard to argue the case that someone as established as Hanlon could still be contributing at Easter Road.
