Hibs were left heartbroken in stoppage time as they succumbed to a late Dundee United deadly double.

David Gray’s side had found themselves a goal down at Tannadice within 20 minutes when Sam Dalby hit the opener but they managed to flip the game on its head.

Warren O’Hora scored before the break and then Dwight Gayle netted his first goal for the club to give his side the lead and fans hope of just their second win of the season.

As it transpired, however, it was an incredible final few minutes for the Tangerines as a leveller came three minutes into stoppage time from Luca Stephenson.

That might have been enough for the hosts to head home happy but the best was yet to come when Meshack Ubochioma lashed home the winner in the NINTH minute beyond the 90.

Gray and his stars were crestfallen while Jim Goodwin’s players were delirious at the final whistle.

The win leaves United fourth and just one point behind Rangers while Hibs sit rock bottom as they traded places with their rivals Hearts.

Hearts beat St Mirren 4-0 for their first win of the season

Speaking of which, the Jambos won 4-0 to the delight of their support and hand Neil Critchley his first win as boss on his debut.

Kenneth Vargas, Daniel Oyegoke, James Wilson and Blair Spittal were the scorers as they swept St Mirren aside in convincing fashion. It’s their first win of the season.

Aberdeen continued their fine start to the season with a battling 2-2 draw at Celtic Park after they roared back from 2-0 down when Reo Hatate’s goal was added to by Kyogo.

Ester Sokler pulled one back before Graeme Shinnie netted the equaliser and had VAR not intervened for a Duk handball on the goal line, Dons would have won 3-2 in what was an enthralling game.

Benjamin Kimpioka had his side in front before Elijah Campbell was sent off for the Staggies. The same striker then doubled his tally on 45.

Charlie Telfer was then shown a red card for the visitors to all but seal the hosts’ win and the cherry was placed atop the cake when Makenzie Kirk scored in injury time to make it 3-0.
