English Championship club Huddersfield Town are believed to have an interest in signing Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson (Sun).
The midfielder handed in a transfer request to the Scottish Premiership club earlier this summer after offers from England were rejected. Ferguson has made over 100 appearances for Aberdeen since arriving from Hamilton in 2018, interest from Huddersfield Town now apparent.

22-year-old Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien is closing in on a move to the Premier League with Leeds United. It could net manager Carlos Corberan a seven figure sum to reinvest in his squad.
Huddersfield Town could then turn their attentions to Aberdeen’s midfielder if a move for O’Brien goes through. Ferguson has played regularly for Aberdeen this season, despite the rejected transfer request.
Stephen Glass’ side face Hearts today in league action before facing Qarabag of Azerbaijan at Pittodrie on Thursday. The winner of that Europa Conference Legaue play-off second-leg will progress to the group stages of UEFA’s new European competition.
