Partick Thistle and Dunfermline are set for a fight over Rangers prospect Jamie Barjonas according to a report (Scottish Sun).
The midfielder was given his Ibrox debut when he was 18 but hasn’t featured much since. He’s previously had loan spells with Bury and Raith Rovers.

The Jags and the Pars will battle for his signature until the end of the season as they look to bolster their midfield options reportedly.
Both could lose loan players
Thistle already have Rangers youngster Cammy Palmer on loan and have hosted their Euro youth games at Firhill. There are firm connections to chase up another Gers deal.
Both sides though may lose loan players in January. The Pars’ Hearts duo Harry Cochrane and Anthony McDonald could both go back to Tynecastle amidst talk that Daniel Stendel wants a look at them.

Thistle meanwhile could stand to lose Reece Cole, who’s been influential in recent weeks. McCall recently confirmed though that he was hopeful of getting an extension in place with Brentford for Cole.
It looks set to be a Championship battle for the Gers youngster’s temporary signature.
