The government have issued clear guidance on what to do in these times, stay at home. It’s a message McPake is relaying to Dundee supporters via Twitter.

“It’s essential in these tough times that we listen to the experts and stay at home,” said McPake. “It’s so important time to do it.

“Exercise at home and when you can, it’s also essential. It’s really important we do this, that we stay at home, protect the NHS and key workers and save lives.”

Important memo

It is clear what we must do to protect our NHS from being overwhelmed by this virus. Medical experts have constantly reiterated that social distancing is the way forward.

Some have defied these orders, with social media images and videos proof of people not listening to these rules despite very strong guidance.

That’s why it’s important that clubs like Dundee and important people within football like McPake relay these important messages in order to spread awareness at a crucial point in time.
