James Scott has ‘enormous potential’ says Hibs head coach Jack Ross

Hibs head coach Jack Ross says he hopes to help Hull City loanee James Scott fulfill his undoubted potential.

The Scottish Premiership club have bolstered their frontline with the 20-year-old Hull City forward. Scott joined the English Championship club in 2020 from Motherwell but his stint has been disrupted by injury.

Ross has secured him on a season-long loan and can’t wait to see Scott develop: “I’m really happy to bring James to Hibs for the season.

“He is a young player with enormous potential, and we believe we can help him achieve that, which in turn means he can deliver for us on the pitch.

“James is able to play anywhere across the front line and I am excited to both welcome him to the club and begin working with him. Finally, the support from chairman Ron Gordon and the senior management at the club is greatly appreciated as we continue to try and drive forward.”
