Dundee United head coach Thomas Courts hopes ‘a bit of value’ has been added to Jamie Robson’s valuation, amid Sunderland transfer interest.
The left-back scored his first goal since 2017 to end Rangers’ 40-game unbeaten streak in the Scottish Premiership. His goal that secured Dundee United’s 1-0 win came off the back of a week filled with rumours that League One duo Lincoln City and Sunderland are pursuing his signature.

Courts says the likes of Sunderland may have to stump up more cash to land Robson: “I would expect when I go in to see the chairman and sporting director that a bit of value has been added on to Jamie now. He’s an academy product and, as match winner, I thought he was absolutely colossal for us.
“To be fair, I had a weird feeling that we could actually win this game. I didn’t know where it came from and dare I say it I didn’t want to mention it to anyone because I think I would’ve looked foolish, particularly on the back of a poor performance last week.
“I just had a sneaky suspicion we were going to perform this week. Thankfully we did that for a monumental victory.”
