Livingston manager Gary Holt has moved to fill his striker void, completing the signing of former Arsenal, Bristol City and Ipswich Town forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
The 29-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Lions following a spell abroad in Thailand with PTT Raygong.

Having sold Lyndon Dykes in August and watching Anthony Stokes’ transfer to West Lothian end abruptly, Holt will be pleased to get someone with the experience of Emmanuel-Thomas in the door.
This will be the 11th club of the striker’s career. He started out as a promising prospect at Arsenal, making six appearances for the senior side at the start of his time in professional football.
Whilst at Arsenal he spent time out on loan at Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers and Cardiff City before a permanent Gunners departure to Ipswich Town in 2011. Emmanuel-Thomas would spend two years with the Tractor Boys before a move to Bristol City.
Here he enjoyed the most prolific spell of his career, scoring 33 times in 103 matches. Spells at QPR and Gillingham have followed since before finding himself in Asia as the forward now prepares for a new challenge in the SPFL.
