The news Kilmarnock fans didn’t want to hear has been confirmed, Greg Taylor has left Rugby Park to sign for Celtic.
The left-back was brilliant at Rugby Park, coming through the club’s youth academy and going on to make over 100 Killie appearances.

He is now a Celtic player though, with the Scotland international penning a four-year deal with the Hoops.
Some Kilmarnock fans have reacted to Taylor making the move to Glasgow.
Now that's how you do it.
Class statement from a class player.
All the very best for the future. Pleasure watching you develop at Killie. Gave 100% every single game.

Class! Your first tweet is to thank everyone at Kilmarnock before you talk about your new adventure. That is how you win friends and gain respect. Best wishes for the future.

Good luck Greg, brilliant servant for Killie, deserve your chance at a higher level in Europe. The odd foot-slip here and there when we’re attacking against your new club would be welcome 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️

Taylor takes nothing but good wishes from the Kilmarnock fans
His classy statement on Twitter with regards to his exit shows how much Taylor appreciates Kilmarnock and their fans. Whilst he has been brilliant for them, he also appreciates how much the club have helped his career.

Taylor now moves to Celtic for a new challenge. He has made Killie a tasty profit too, with one report claiming the club were wanting up to £3 million for the left-back (Evening Times).
If they got near that figure, this is decent business for Killie. With that type of money, the Rugby Park club simply can’t afford to turn it down.
They’ll need to prepare for life without the 21-year-old now. His move on deadline day means Angelo Alessio will need to rely on loanee Niko Hamalainen to replace the new Celtic defender now.

Taylor’s a big loss for Kilmarnock but some fans seem pleased that he has got his big move.
