There’s a blow for Leeds United and Scotland as Liam Cooper goes down with another injury.
The centre-back has had on and off niggling injuries this season since Leeds United made their way back to the Premier League. Another was suffered on Sunday during what was a bad day for the Elland Road side.

They lost 6-2 to Manchester United at Old Trafford, Scotland’s Scott McTominay scoring two of the goals and Cooper managed to get one for Leeds, but a heavy defeat was still inflicted.
Things got worse for Marcelo Bielsa’s team late on as the Scotland centre-back was substituted with injury. It’s not known how long he could be out for although it’s thought to be a muscular problem.
That leaves Leeds in a crisis at centre-back, with three first-team players in that position all out injured now, including Cooper. It’s another blow for Scotland’s man though after a good run of games.

He’ll be hoping it isn’t a serious one with a busy set of fixtures on the horizon during this festive period. His next match could be Burnley this Sunday, although that could come too soon for Cooper.
