Manchester City and Scotland prospect Lewis Fiorini got his first goal in NAC Breda colours yesterday with a brilliant effort.
The young attacker is spending time in the Dutch second tier this season as Manchester City look to give him some senior experience.
It’s already reaped its rewards, Fiorini earning a promotion from the Scotland U19s to the U21s earlier this month as a reward for stepping up the senior ladder.
In a 2-1 win over Jong PSV, the Manchester City talent netted the winner in great style. Subbed onto the pitch after 65 minutes, Fiorini netted with virtually his first touch, firing an impressive low effort beyond PSV’s keeper.
NAC Breda secured another win off the back of this, meaning it’s five wins from five so far this term. It’s promising for Fiorini as his adopted side look to push for promotion to the Eredivisie this season.
So far, the young Scot has made two appearances during his Dutch adventure. His latter substitute appearance is one he’ll remember for a long time.
