Ayo Obileye says Livingston can allow him to ‘show my talent’ in the Scottish Premiership after the former Sheffield Wednesday man sealed his move to West Lothian.

Capable of playing in defence and midfield, Obileye started his career at Sheffield Wednesday before going on to play in the lower leagues of English football. He signed for Scottish Championship club Queen of the South at the start of the 2020/21 season.

Form there he has caught Livingston boss David Martindale’s eye and the former Sheffield Wednesday man is happy to sign a two-year deal with the West Lothian club (LFC): “I have seen Livingston reach the top six twice now. I have watched the team a few times. I have seen the boys and how they are all together, and watched how they graft.

“I like the team. The manager has spoken to me about the team. I just feel like it’s a great place for me to carrying on building and show that in the Scottish Premiership I can do what I do and show my talent.”
