10-in-a-row was completed when Livingston faced Celtic on Wednesday night – just not the way people may think when associating that tag with Scottish football.
After a 2-2 draw with Celtic made it 10 games unbeaten for the Lions, a run which includes eight wins and two draws with the Hoops for David Martindale, Livi sent a hilarious ’10IAR’ message, making fun of their visitors’ charge for ten Premiership titles in succession, which now looks a distant fantasy.

The Lions made seven changes to the side that drew with Celtic 0-0 at Parkhead on a snowy evening in West Lothian, one eye on the League Cup semi-final with St Mirren this Sunday. It’s an opportunity to make history and recapture the trophy they last won during the 2003/04 season, when they battled to the cup despite facing administration.
Their rotated side didn’t have any detrimental impact as Ciaron Brown put them ahead before Mohamed Elyounoussi and Nir Bitton had Celtic ahead at half-time. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas put Livi back on level terms as they gained a great point as an unlikely push for third continues.
Ahead of a huge game in the club’s history this Sunday in Mount Florida, Martindale can be pleased with how his side have performed in recent weeks and months, especially here with so many changes made. But his club’s social media post has caught fire with fans across Scotland, liked over 20,000 times and over 5,000 retweets and climbing.

Just home from another uneventful night at the Tony Mac Arenaπ
Loved commentating on that with @DaveBlackLFC. What a performance. Again perhaps unlucky not to come away with all 3 points tonight, but thatβs two draws in 4/5 days against Celticπ¦
