Livingston are set to offer keeper Max Stryjek a new contract, according to a report, as they look to tie the 25-year-old’s long-term future down.

Stryjek is out of contract this summer – although Livi have the option of extending that by a year – however the Daily Record claim they want to offer him fresh terms as a result of impressive performances.
Stryjek has caught the eye since replacing Rangers loanee Robby McCrorie as number one at Livingston and manager David Martindale obviously sees him as a key part of Livi’s long-term plans.
The keeper joined Livi from English side Eastleigh in 2020, battling with McCrorie for the gloves last season and making them his own over the second half of the campaign.
The former Sunderland youngster has made 45 appearances for the Lions since moving to the Tony Macaroni Arena and has regularly won the club’s Player of the Month award during his time in West Lothian.
Tying him down beyond the end of the season would be a smart move for Livi – even with the safety net of a one-year option – and few would argue the keeper deserves a pay rise following his performances for Martindale’s side.
