Hibernian loanee Jamie Gullan is currently in good form for Championship side Raith Rovers. The 21-year-old attacker scored twice in last night’s emphatic 5-1 win over play-off rivals Dunfermline.
The victory saw Raith consolidate second place in the Championship table, and they look to be very close to sealing a place in the end of season promotion/relegation play-offs.
Four goals in 10 games
Gullan’s goals at Starks Park take his tally to four in 10 games for Raith since he joined the Championship side in the January transfer window.

He has also scored three goals in two games, as he scored the winning goal in the weekend victory over Morton. Those goals have been vital for Raith, as they have helped John McGlynn’s team move clear in second place in the Championship table.
Plenty of confidence from result
Gullan and Raith will now take plenty of confidence into this weekend’s Scottish Cup tie against Livingston. The Premiership side will be favourites for the tie at the Tony Macaroni Arena, but in current form Raith look capable of making it a difficult match for Livingston.

It will be interesting to see if the Raith boss picks a strong line-up for the game. As securing a place in the play-offs will be the main goal for the rest of the season.
However, should McGlynn pick a strong team that it seems certain that Gullan will get the nod to start against Livingston. He will perhaps be looking to impress anyone from Hibernian who could be in attendance, to show that he deserves to get more first-team opportunities next season.
