Queen’s Park head coach Laurie Ellis believes Liverpool loanee Luis Longstaff will be a ‘great addition’ the Scottish League One club.
The Glasgow-based club pulled off a loan coup on Deadline Day by landing a talent from the English Premier League giants. Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson started his senior career at Queen’s Park and Longstaff will hope for a similar line of success.

A versatile attacking option, he joins Ellis’ squad who are pushing for promotion to the Championship from League One, having only won the League Two title last season. Ellis was happy with his final piece of business in the window as he explains that the capture from Anfield has settled into life at the Spiders quickly.
“We are delighted to welcome Luis to Queen’s Park. He is a great addition to our squad and has settled in quickly. We have a great, hard working and talented group of players which Luis now compliments”.
Longstaff added on his late transfer move from Liverpool to Queen’s Park: “I’m delighted to be here. Everyone at the club has made me very welcome since I arrived, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Queen’s ‘would like to thank Liverpool FC for their assistance with this loan’ after Longstaff’s late arrival.
