Manchester United’s message to Dylan Levitt as Dundee United loan takes shape

Dylan Levitt says Manchester United want him to experience ‘different styles’ as his loan move at Dundee United commences.

The Manchester United midfielder arrived at Tannadice during the summer transfer window, going straight into Thomas Courts’ starting XI for the 1-0 win over St Johnstone last month. It was 48 hours after he signed and Levitt is set for a continued role of importance at the Scottish Premiership club this term.

Levitt will train with Rob Page’s Wales squad this week as their bid to reach the World Cup in Qatar next year continues. Page selected Levitt for his Euro 2020 squad over the summer and the Manchester United loanee has made nine appearances for his national team overall.

He said (Sun): “It’s always good to get call-ups for your country as Manchester United will always recognise that. They keep in touch with me every week to make sure everything is alright. They have got a very strong squad at the moment. They want me to experience different styles of football. Playing in Scotland is quite physical.”

Dundee United had a busy Deadline Day, watching left-back Jamie Robson leave for Lincoln City. He was swiftly replaced by Hamilton’s Scott McMann.
