Dundee United head coach Thomas Courts says the Scottish Premiership club are closing in on a deal for Reading striker Marc McNulty.
‘The Arabs’ are looking for a new striker after the departure of Lawrence Shankland to Belgian side Beerschot. McNulty spent last season on loan at Dundee United from Reading and Courts says he is close to returning.

Addressing rumours surrounding the Reading striker, Courts said: “We are pretty close. There could be a bit of signing news imminent, maybe in the next 24 hours.
“Marc has been rumoured. He is a player we are speaking to that we know well, so fingers crossed we can conclude that one.
“If things go well, we could have him here tomorrow and I think he would be a big asset for us if we can secure his signature.”
