Hibs midfielder Marvin Bartley will join SPFL rivals Livingston this summer after agreeing a pre-contract move to the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Livingston have announced on their website that the experienced star he’ll be joining them on a three-year contract as they prepare to lose captain Craig Halkett to Hearts.
Bartley helped the Hibees win promotion from the Championship and was part of the side that lifted the Scottish Cup and will make his final appearance against Aberdeen this weekend.

The 32-year-old has made 123 appearances for the Hibees since signing from Leyton Orient in 2015 and is out of contract at the end of the season.
The midfielder is a big favourite with Hibs fans but has only managed 20 appearances this season after an injury-hit season.

The move to Livingston will be a fantastic opportunity for Bartley to get regular games as the Lions look to build on their impressive season in the top-flight.
After coming up from the Championship last summer, many expected Livi to go straight back down again but they’ve done well to secure a mid-table position and will hope to improve on that next season.
