Defensive midfielder Mich’el Parker has signed a six-month contract with cinch Premiership club Motherwell, a year on from his West Ham United exit.
The 22-year-old has been on the books of Arsenal, Liverpool and Millwall, leaving West Ham United last summer. He hasn’t played senior football before but ‘Well manager Graham Alexander has been impressed by what he’s witnessed in an extended training period.
Parker is available for Motherwell’s Premier Sports Cup group stage match against Queen of the South on Saturday, a ‘Well statement reading: “Mich’el Parker is the latest in the door at Motherwell. The defensive midfielder has signed a deal until January, having spent the last few months training with the team.
“Mich’el will wear the number 26 jersey and is available for selection for Saturday’s homecoming Premier Sports Cup match against Queen of the South. The 22-year-old has been on the books at Arsenal, Liverpool, Millwall and West Ham United, featuring in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.”
