Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson says that the Fir Park club will continue to plough on until further notice amidst the coronavirus outbreak.
Cov-19 is sweeping through the globe, with the World Health Organisation labelling it as a pandemic. So far, over 125,000 cases have been diagnosed across the globe.

Sporting events like the NBA and Champions League and Europa League events have been cancelled or put behind closed doors in recent times. As such, the SPFL could follow a similar path.
Motherwell take on Aberdeen tomorrow in the race for the Premiership’s third spot. Despite these uncertain times, Robinson says the Fir Park club have to soldier on and continue to be led by medical advice.
“We are just going on the information we’ve been told and the advice of people who know a lot more than me,” said Robinson. “We have just continued our preparations as normal.

“It’s an ongoing situation that everyone is going to be guided by the experts. Obviously safety is of paramount importance in the whole thing. We haven’t thought too far down the line.
“We just focus on what’s ahead of us which as it stands is the Aberdeen game. People are going to go by what the advice is. If it’s to play behind closed doors, we’ll follow that. I think there will be a big crowd, it’s third v fourth at a critical stage in the season.
“I’d like to think after the season we’ve had, the fans will turn up in their numbers, and Aberdeen as they always do will bring down a big crowd as well.”
Robinson has also provided an update on Rohan Ferguson. The Well keeper is out on loan at Linfield, where one of the Belfast club’s players has obtained the virus. The Well boss says it’s not a situation Motherwell are directly dealing with.

“Our goalkeeping coach has spoke to Rohan,” said Robinson. “He’s stayed in touch with him but that’s a situation they are managing separately. Rohan hasn’t been involved with us for a long time now.
“It’s a situation which hasn’t affected us at this moment in time.”
