Motherwell have snapped up Jordan Roberts as they take the Welsh forward on loan from Hearts.
The man who is predominantly a winger played his trade in non-league and the lower leagues of English football, most notably with Aldershot Town at the start of his career. He would spend a 13-game spell with Inverness in the 2015-16 season.
Roberts travelled back to England after this with Crawley Town before moves to Ipswich Town, Lincoln City and Gillingham ensued. He joined Hearts from the Tractor Boys in August and has made 11 appearances without finding the net.
Now he joins Graham Alexander’s Well side as they fight for Premiership survival. Alexander said: “We’re happy to get Jordan on board. He will give us options in the front line, being able to play anywhere across the front three. He’s quick, wants to run in behind and adds to the firepower we need this season.”
Motherwell aren’t done for the window either, NTOF understands. The Steelmen are set to sign at least one more player while news on Stephen O’Donnell’s contract is due imminently.
