Steve Bruce has tipped Scotland U19s youngster Elliot Anderson for a big future at Newcastle United after his Premier League debut.
The teenage attacking midfielder made his Newcastle United debut against Arsenal in the FA Cup earlier this month. Bruce then handed him his Premier League debut against the same opposition earlier this week.

Now Anderson, who Scotland boss Steve Clarke has sent scouts to watch in recent times, has been tipped for a big Newcastle United future by Bruce: “He’s got a big future ahead, that’s for sure.
“He’s been training with the first team and looking the part. He had a little cameo in the FA Cup too a couple of weeks ago. He’ll remember his debut at the Emirates, that’s for sure. Certainly, during his time training with the first team, he’s flourished.
“We think there’s a player in there. There’s a lot of work to do, of course. But we’re quietly pleased with him. I’m delighted with his progress, but let’s not get carried away too far too quickly, as he’s got a long way to go. But, certainly, he’s a talented boy.”
