Ex-Aberdeen man Archie Mair has been left delighted after signing a new deal with Norwich City until the summer of 2024.
The Scotland youth international moved to Norwich City at the start of the 2019/20 season. Thought of as potentially Aberdeen’s future number one, Mair headed south when the Canaries came calling.

So far, it seems to be paying dividends, Norwich City impressed enough to hand him a long-term deal. It comes off the back of a season in the National League with King’s Lynn, his first taste of regular senior experience.
Mair said: “[It feels] amazing, it’s something I’ve aimed for since I came down. I’ve only been here for about a year and a half now, but I knew it was something that I wanted to do. I’ve loved every minute of my time here since I came down.
“I think the club are really good with rewarding players with new contracts when its needed, if they are performing well or working hard.

“Seeing the clear pathway, you have got boys like Max Aarons in the first-team, it gives something for everyone to strive towards. Everyone around the club, the staff and players, they are all so friendly and welcoming. I think it’s a really good environment they have got going on here.”
