Livingston manager David Martindale says Norwich City goalkeeper Daniel Barden comes to the cinch Premiership with glowing reviews.

The Welsh youth international arrives in Livingston to compete with Max Stryjek for the number one spot in Martindale’s team. Barden made his senior debut for Norwich City – who will feature in the English Premier League this term – last season. He arrives in Scotland to try and earn regular minutes.

Martindale said of Barden: “I’m delighted to bring Daniel to the club and he will come in and compete for the number one shirt this season. He comes in very highly recommended from people I trust within football, and of course from Norwich City too, who I have a lot of respect for.

“I think it’s important that we have two very capable goalkeepers throughout the season. I’m extremely happy to get the deal across the line.”
