Norwich are seemingly on a quest to snap up as much SPFL talent as possible this summer. Motherwell youngster Reece McAlear is the latest to be reportedly on the move to Carrow Road.
The Scottish Sun reports that both clubs are getting closer to agreeing a fee for the 17-year-old.

Midfielder McAlear was just 15 when he made his Motherwell U20s debut.
Motherwell will no doubt want to hang on to their young talent. It looks likely though that he’s going to join a growing list of young talent to join Norwich from Scotland this summer.
Norwich are hoovering up SPFL talent
First up was Aberdeen’s Archie Mair. He was the first SPFL starlet to make the switch to Carrow Road this summer.

He was followed by Partick Thistle’s Aidan Fitzpatrick, who after an impressive season with the Jags, has won a deal with the Canaries.
Now McAlear looks set to join his fellow SPFL starlets at the club. Just like the other two players, McAlear can’t really turn this down. The chance to go to a Premier League team, with better wages no doubt, will be too tempting to turn down.
He’ll join a list of Fir Park youngsters to have left the club this summer. Jake Hastie, Shaun Bowers, Liam Brown, Shea Gordon, Kyle MacDonald, Neil McLaughlin, Akeal Rehman, Broque Watson and Stuart McKinstry have all departed.

McAlear looks set to join them, along with Chris Cadden, who’s departure is expected but unconfirmed.
Norwich are getting a decent player. He’s not ready for first-team football yet but McAlear has shown at youth level that he has the capability to be a very tidy midfielder in the coming years.
The Well will no doubt be disappointed that they’ve lost him if this deal goes through.
